FREE!
You may forward up to 250 addresses for your domain. You can add E-mail Forwarding to your domain during checkout. To add
E-mail Forwarding to an existing domain, visit your account
management.
What is it?
With DomainRegistration's e-mail forwarding service, you will be able to create
e-mail addresses for your domains and forward them to any other valid e-mail
address. You can also add a "catch-all" address that will forward any mail sent
to your domain that does not have a valid e-mail address to an e-mail address
of your choice. You must use the name servers ns1.nameresolve.com, ns2.nameresolve.com, ns3.nameresolve.com and ns4.nameresolve.com or
have an MX record for your domain that points to uf1.DomainRegistration.com, in
order to use the e-mail forwarding service.
Example
We will use the following settings for the example:
Local Address
Destination Address
oburseth@youdomain.com
oburseth@anotherdomain.com
nreaves@youdomain.com
nreaves@anotherdomain.com
catchall
admin@anotherdomain.com
If an e-mail is sent to oburseth@youdomain.com it will be forwarded to oburseth@anotherdomain.com.
If an e-mail is sent to nreaves@youdomain.com it will be forwarded to nreaves@anotherdomain.com.
If an e-mail is sent to lkajsd@youdomain.com (or any other invalid address at
your domain) it will be forwarded to admin@anotherdomain.com.
note
AOL destination addresses (possibly others) may not accept forwarded e-mail if
their mail configuration is not set up correctly. We were able to fix this problem
by logging into the AOL account, opening up "Mail Center", clicking on "Mailbox
Features", then going into "Mail Controls" and choosing to accept all e-mail
delivered to the proper username.
